Hi,
My friend got GC when he was single. Later he got married . So spouse is still in India . She has not received GC. She has no visa to visit him.
That is the reason H1B option is being explored. She has the right qualifications and relevant experience. US Corporation is willing to sponser her H1B petition.
Since her husband is already in USA and green card holder, visa officer might reject her H1B petition stating that she is an intended immigrant.
or
he might issue the H1B visa because it is a dual intent visa.
So what's the chances of her getting the H1B visa.

Instead of posting questions here, PLEASE send it to the email (legal_advise@immigrationvoice.org) with proper format (as mentioned by IV member "sertasheep" in starting of this thread like name, city/state, question....) so that it will be easier for IV team to compile your questions. Just an idea....

The only good part is that they are not jerking the dates back and forth. Hopefully this is a sign that dates are not going to retrogress any further.
If they apply quarterly spill over, we should see some movement in December. Lets wait and see......

I know we missed the Dec 31st goal, but sounds like we brought in new members at a faster pace than in the past.

My situation:
I've been given offers by two companies, A and B.
I am currently under my F1 student visa, OPT status, my OPT started at July 2010.
Company A is now processing my H1B petition, and this is the first time I apply for H1B. But I haven't started to work for them yet, they set the start date to be in Jan. next year. They just filed my H1B petition before Thanksgiving.
Right now, I decided not to work for Company A for some personal reasons, and I will work for Company B next year February. (2011) And Company B is going to file a H1B petition for me after the Thanksgiving holiday.
My issue is, Company A is going to terminate the H1B visa process from my end, and ends the employment relation with me. Will I be out of status, if Company A withdraw their H1B petition filed for me? How can I avoid this problem. What should I ask Company A to do, and what should I ask Company B to do.
I am willing to give more details if an attorney can really help me answer my questions. I would really appreciate that! It's kind of urgent. Thanks very much!

Well optimism and positive thinking is the only way up in life mate. Anyways we all know wht happened last year wherer so many people got there ead in a year from first stage. There were lucky hope v r too. Thats the optimism.
The way u r replying seems to be u r one of those in that frustated waiting list. I only can wish u the best.
What planet are you from ? BTW don't forget to get your pixy dust :):)
You start out with a question and , then turn ultra optimist and label others as frustrated for reminding you of the reality.
keep up your optimism and apply in EB2 and you should have your GC in your lap by next Jan.......................................provided of course if your pixy dust works. :) :)

First I want to learn to take more pictures. I never seem to have the urge, opportunity and camera all in the same place at the same time.
I also would like to learn what to take pictures of. I am obviously limited by the capabilities of my Cybershot and circular polarizer. What kinds of photographs, subjects and conditions should I concentrate on so that I can take pictures I will be pleased with?
I live in Houston.

You will do best taking pictures of things you like. You will put more of yourself into it, and it will show. Whatever equipment you have is sufficient to start climbing that learning curve. When you outgrow it, you will know it and upgrade.
