The one name which fits the bill of ‘Colours’ Papa is Swathi, after having shot to fame with her TV show and few roles on big screen, the big eyed Swathi is losing steam in opportunities. So now, it is heard that she has decided to take an extra step and gain some breakthrough.

So far, Swathi was seen mingling with directors and producers but now she has begun that with technicians as well. The latest we hear is the thin reed starlet has begun accompanying Devi Sri Prasad and has been hanging out with him in clubs and pubs.

Those who heard this say Swathi seems to have taken the path of Namitha. Buzz is that Swathi is keen on displaying her beauties as well but the big question is- which director or producer would want to consider that and give the Colours Papa a chance as a heroine.

2010 Nandi Awards Winners List

Nandamuri Balakrishna has bagged the Nandi award for best actor for his “outstanding performance” in the blockbuster film Simha for 2010.

The awards were announced by Director N Shankar, chairman of Nandi film awards committee, after taking clearance from Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday.

The best actress award has gone to Nitya Menon for her film “Ala Modalaindi.”

The second best film was: Gangaputrulu and the third best film was: Prasthanam.

The Nandi award for the best feature film has gone to the film “Vedam” directed by Krish.

And the best family entertainter film has gone to: Andari Bandhuvaya.

The best maiden film maker award has gone to Nandini Reddy for Ala Modalaindi.

The best director award has gone to: Suneel Kumar Reddy (Ganga Putrulu).

Best male comedian was: Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam and female comedian: Jhansi.

Best Male Singer award was bagged by M M Keeravani (Rayalaseema Murisipadela, Maryada Ramana) and best female singer award to Pranavi (Sneha Geetham).

Best music director award has gone to Chakri in Simha.

RamCharan in RGV direction titled 'Shivudu'?

Ram Gopal Varma who is always in the news with many reasons is again in news. Not sure how far this is true, however I am thinking that, Ram Charan wouldn't take this kind of blunder decision in his life, if he is taken, his career is in gone case. If the buzz is to believed Varma is planning a new film to direct the Mega Power Star Ram Charan in the lead. Buzz is that Varma has already had a few discussions with Ram Charan regarding the script. There is also a buzz that the film has been titled as Shivudu. If everything goes well, Ram Charan and RGV teams up and the project starts rolling its camera from September.

The script work is said to be under progress. Ram Gopal Varma has started a movie with Chiranjeevi before and stopped it and again he was in news that he is planning to make a movie called Dora-the lord but it did not materialize and now he is into news with Ram Charan movie Shivudu.We have to wait and see whether varma's dream of making a movie with Mega family will come true or not.


On the other hand Ram Charan is busy with Rachcha. It would be an out and out commercial and action oriented directed by Sampath Nandi. Ram Charan is going to appear in a new look with his 8 Pack abs for this flick.

Is Gopichand denying Pokuri Babu Rao Now?

Does hero Gopichand not have the word ‘Gratitude’ in his dictionary? This is the interesting talk happening in cine industry. His debut film ‘Tholi Valapu’ didn’t bring him success but his role as a villain in ‘Jayam’ shot him to fame. But his real image as hero came with the film ‘Yagnam’.

The producer for that is Pokuri Baburao who is also a very close friend to the late T Krishna, father of Gopichand. With ‘Yagnam’ giving him the break, Gopichand’s career established strongly with ‘Ranam’, another film produced by Baburao. Later, he scored two more hits with ‘Lakshyam’ ‘Souryam’.

But Baburao’s ‘Ontari’ starring Gopichand could not score commercial success. Similarly, Baburao’s another project ‘Em Pillo…Em Pillado’ also flopped and this put him into some financial crisis. Now, it is heard that Baburao’s efforts to come out of his troubles by doing a film with Gopichand are going in vain as the hero has not been responding positively.

Filmnagar folks say that since Gopichand didn’t receive the expected remuneration for ‘Ontari’, he kept that in mind and is coming up with lame excuses for giving dates to Baburao. Industry sources say that even Teja who did ‘Jayam’ and gave a break to Gopichand faced similar experience.

Ram Gopal Varma is the director who always hunts for talented men and sex appealing women. Freshly his eyes were pinned on Amala Paul, the new Kollywood sensation who made her presence felt with ‘Naanna’. He got impressed looking at her stills and news is that he is seriously considering her for one his subsequent films in Bollywood.

Those who heard this say “In terms of Sunil it may not be crazy because he already did films like ‘Andaala Ramudu’ ‘Maryada Ramanna’. But if it is Trisha in picture then it will create impact. This will bring craze.” Already there is a talk that R R Movie Makers is keen on giving very high remunerations to Sunil, Veerabhadram Chowdary to make this a prestigious project. A senior producer who was part of the discussion revealed “Swathi is a very talented person. She was great as an anchor, had good timing with her lines and a witty sense of humour. For some reason, she has become an actress. As such she is not a heroine material in long run as she is not desired by every director.”

He added “The best path for Swathi is, she can do anchoring for TV shows and get into significant roles in movies like the ones she did in ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhaalu Verule’. But she can’t take full time career into cinema by ignoring TV. I don’t understand why she has to become laughing stock like this. God has given her few chances.”

Another director stated “No heroine can entertain masses with natural dialogues like Swathi on the small screen or during events. Instead of that, she is doing something else. She can take inspiration from Jhansi who has got a big image and has dual presence in TV and cinema. She also got Nandi award with her right moves.” Wonder what Swathi has to say to this now.

Business Man offered 3 Lakhs to Kajal Agarwal for single 'meet'

By this we are not talking about the film ‘The Businessman’. This is about a rather unusual experience that Kajal Agarwal had recently. Apparently, the pretty girl has been riding high with the success of her Bollywood venture ‘Singham’ and sources say she was approached by a businessman wanting to produce a film with her.

After several rounds of requests and calls, the businessman finally got to meet Kajal and he gave the narration of a story. It is heard that Kajal turned it down and wanted something different. At this, the businessman reportedly insisted on Kajal taking an advance with an assurance that he would come back with a better script.

Due to his persuasion, Kajal reportedly took the advance cheque of Rs 3 lakhs. However, the man went missing for 3-4 days and when Kajal’s manager called him, the answer took them aback. This businessman revealed he was actually an ardent fan of Kajal and since he didn’t know any other way of meeting her, he took this route. As for the cheque, Kajal has not encashed it but she was heard saying that the total experience had amused her though it was a bit unnerving. She also revealed how the man was showering praises on her when they met which flattered her to an extent.

Varun Sandesh - Dr.Siddharth - Nani - Nigerian caught in Drug Racket Scam

Young hero Varun Sandesh has responded to the allegations on him over having links with a drug peddler from Nigeria and buying cocaine from him. The actor denied the allegations saying that he never met a Nigerian and never bought cocaine from anyone. However, Varun agreed that he personally knows Dr.Siddharth, whose name also cropped up in the Drugs racket.

"I know Dr.Siddharth personally but I never bought any drugs from him and I never met a Nigerian. I don't take any drugs. Earlier, hero Nani's name was linked to a drug peddler. But, the reports were proved false. And now my name is linked to it. Please verify the news before telecasting it in TV Channels. I'm always available to clarify any issues to media," said Varun Sandesh.

The police have arrested a Nigerian and an Indian doctor Siddharth from Bangalore and 50 grams of cocaine was recovered from them. The TV Channels have splashed that Varun Sandesh have links with the Nigerian and bought drugs from him.

Mahesh's 'The Business Man' to release on 12th January 2012

After a gap of seven years Mahesh Babu is releasing his film for Sankranthi festival. Puri Jagannadh has fixed release date for his movie with Mahesh Babu. The Business Man will release on January 12, 2012. Puri, by and large, sticks to the release dates and he is known for finishing up films in very short span of time.

Remember he made record-breaking Pokiri in just 6 months with Rs 10 Crs budget. His recent Hindi film, Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap , was also completed in just four months.

So Puri made it clear that he will release The Business Man on January 12, 2012 and will resume regular shoot from August end.

Mahesh Babu's last film to hit the screens on Sankranthi festival was Okkadu, which was one of the biggest hits of all time in Telugu film industry. After Okkadu , none of Mahesh movies released in January.

'Dookudu Audio' Songs leaked?

Rumor mills are abuzz that upcoming film of Super Star Mahesh Babu, Dookudu audio is leaked on the net prior to the release. Mahesh fans are worried to know the news as it would kill the curiosity and also might do damage to the business of the audio.

One of the producers of Dookudu Anil Sunkara condemned these rumors and said that Dookudu audio isn’t leaked. He gave assurance to fans that the audio has come out so well and nothing is leaked and will not be until the audio hits the stands officially.

When 'Dhada' Audio Release Planned?

The audio launch of Naga Chaitanya, Kajal Agarwal starrer Dhada is postponed to 25th July. Earlier it was supposed to be launched a day before on 24th July. However, the venue of the launch event remains the same as Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad.

The recently unveiled trailer of Dhada earned good response from the audiences. Directed by Ajay Bhuyan and produced by D.Siva Prasad Reddy on the banner Kamakshi Kala Movies, the film is slated for a release on 12th August. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the film.

Other prominent cast of Dhada includes Rahul Dev, Mukesh Rishi, Kelly Dorge, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam and Ali.

Is Kajal treating Naga Chaitanya as Junior?

When it comes to their children, no father will keep quiet and Nagarjuna is no exception. Anyways, news is making rounds that Nag is currently breathing fire on Kajal Agarwal and sources say this is not professional but on purely personal grounds.

Buzz is that during the shooting of the film ‘Dhada’, Kajal was treating Naga Chaitanya as the hero but once the shot was completed, unit members reveal that she was treating Chaitu like a junior and kept that line. This has reportedly upset Chaitu who is comparatively many films junior than Kajal.

'Money 3' Telugu Movie Releasing planned in August 2nd week

Actor turned director JD Chakravarthy is directing Money Money more Money’. We can say that this movie is part 3 to ‘Money’ and a sequel to ‘Money Money’. And once again Brahmanandam would be seen as ‘Khan Dada’ in this JD Chakravarthy directed ‘Money Money More Money’ movie.

K.Satyanarayana and Subbaraju are producing this ‘Money Money more Money’ movie under Chakravarthi productions and first choice media house banner. Produces said, “We are very happy to produce Money Money more Money’ movie as a sequel to ‘Money Money’. I think this is the first time that a Telugu cinema as part 3. JD Chakravarthy, who has got critical acclamation for his earlier directed movies like ‘Homam’ and ‘Siddham’, would definitely prove his comedy filming skills with this movie.

The shooting for ‘Money Money More Money’ movie is almost completed and Makers are planing to release in August 2nd week. Bharani K Dharan is the cameraman, while JD Chakravarthy heads the story, screenplay and direction. Gajala will be donning the role of a salesgirl in this film, sources said.
